[ It takes him a bit but soon Keith is walking back into their room. Stripping out of his jacket and shoes he just moves over to the bed and curls up under the blankets. ] Hey.

[He makes grabby hands at Keith as soon as he enters the room, tugging into his arms once he's there.]

There we go. Much better.

[ Chuckling Keith curled up with Lance, hands moving to play with is hair while he laid there. ] Warm?

[Lance always likes it when Keith plays with his hair. He gives a contented hum as he nuzzles in.]

Yep, now that you're here.

Heh, good.

[ Laughing to himself a bit Keith grinned and sunk against the pillows, letting himself relax with the other there with him.

It was taking some getting used to, but Keith could do this. He could allow himself to be close to another person like this, especially if it was Lance. The guy just seemed to calm him down about as well as he could rile him up. ]

[Lance definitely has a talent with that.

He presses a kiss against Keith's forehead.]

Lance, I wasn't even gone that long....and you were asleep for most of it.

[ Keith laughed quietly, enjoying the warmth and comfort.

Of course, he felt the same way and thought it was sweet of Lance to say...he just...wasn't going to.

So? You could be gone five minutes and I'd still miss you.

[Right, so Lance might be exaggerating...just a bit. But hey. Sappy boyfriend.]

[ A short breath. ]

But surprisingly I don't mind.

[ It's nice to have someone want him around but not constantly fawning over him. Lance see's his faults and instead of glossing over them he tries to help Keith get better...in his own weird way. It's nice.

It's comfortable.

And it helps Keith feel better, more than anything other than perhaps one of Shiro's talks. ]

Good. I was afraid you were gonna nag at me for being waaaaay too clingy and sappy. I can't help it, you know. You're my first real boyfriend and amazingly more awesome than I thought you were.

[Smile.]

You're lucky, this is my first relationship too so you don't have to worry about me having anything to compare it to.

Besides, you were clingy to everyone else even before we started dating.

[ He gets a smile in return, damn it Lance. ]

Listen, I've just got a giant heart. You all should be proud I cling to you.

[Lance loves it when Keith gives him a little smile like that, and kisses him in thanks.]

[ He's cut off by the kiss but smiles all the same, returning the pressure .

He never thought he'd be so comfortable with another person so close, especially in such an intimate way.

But here he was. ]

So. Am I a good boyfriend so far?

[It's one of the things he worries about, really.]

[ Keith sighs a bit and pulls back and puts his hands on Lance's cheeks so the blue paladin is forced to look him in the eye. He has a serious look for a moment before he finally breaks into a soft smile. ] I don't really have much to go off of but, so far I think you have. You're patient and caring. A little pushy sometimes but never over things that make me uncomfortable. You give me so much, sometimes I feel like I'm the one who's doing something wrong...or not doing enough. [ As he talks he pulls Lance closer by the face until their lips are a breath apart and he smiles, a laugh escaping him in more of an exhale of breath. ] I mean it Lance, I'm so glad to have you.
