[Everything had happened so damn quickly, Lance had yet to fully process it. Lotor's betrayal, the subsequent fight, Keith's reappearance, losing the castle ship he'd come to see as a home, everything that'd happened with Shiro...

Lance was thrilled that they were preparing to go back to Earth, no doubt about it. He could almost cry thinking about finally seeing his planet again, seeing his family again. But his mind felt chaotic, even more than it had been. He'd always had trouble focusing, but more than ever, he couldn't keep two thoughts together.

The team is on Olkarion now, regrouping and preparing for the journey. Shiro, of course, needs rest as well before they get going. This leaves a week or two of downtime that Lance isn't sure what to do with. The thought of approaching anyone seems strangely daunting, a problem he'd never really had before. And so he does what he'd always teased Keith about--
